1920s Harmony-made 'California-style' banjo ukulele

1920s Harmony-made 'California-style' banjo ukulele Read all about it:

This is verrrrry typical of the cheaper catalog ukes at the time -- poplar neck and rim with a small head that's "top-tensioned" with a screwed-down band. These have a mellow, relaxed sound that's only a tiny bit louder than your average soprano uke. They're best-used for folks just strumming/chopping chords rather than fingerpickers/melody players who will want something a bit more punchy and zippy.
