Firmware version 3.00 for Z6 | Z7 Animal Eye AF... for MORE than just dogs and cats?

Nikon's new firmware version 3.00 for Z6 and Z7 has some great updates. Particularly the changes to subject tracking. Animal Eye AF is thrown in as well. They claim it's only for dogs and cats, but can it do more than that? This could be a great sign for wildlife photography.
