Hong Yoo reports.
Passengers onboard the Diamond Princess cruise ship, which has been quarantined in the Japanese port of Yokohama for the last two weeks, have started to disembark.
Around 500 passengers are due to get off the ship on Wednesday.
Japan's Health Ministry plans to complete the process by Friday.
Passengers must test negative for the virus in order to be allowed to leave the ship.
Those who test positive will be taken to hospital, and anyone who has been in the same cabin as them must remain onboard for an additional quarantine period.
The total number of confirmed cases from the ship stands at 542 out of the 3,700 people who had been onboard as of Tuesday.

In response to the spread of the virus, Russia has decided to close its doors to Chinese nationals from Thursday.
