Wreck It Racing was on schedule for Thursday night at Iron Horse Mud Ranch in Perry, Florida. Hosted by Todd and Kari Larson thousands pakced into the park for a weekend of fun and family Mudding events. There were 13 derby contestant Camps picked for Teams. Those Teams were told to get creative, come up with a Team or Car name, do whatever you want to the car, just be sure you wear a helmet and seatbelt when you are racing. Old beat up cars were used and everyone spent the afternoon, tuning them up, making a few modifications and getting the whole family and camp involved in the project for these pre-derby festivities. We had professional paint artists detailing out Team Verta Breaker car, the use of good ole stickers for the BluCrush Team. One Team found a blow up unicorn and their young girls spray painted emoji's all over the car. Contestant #6 Regina, was named after the business card found on the roof of the car, while Lacey Dahl and his Camp took the day to decorate their Family Grocery-Getter-Van! It rained off and on all day, the wind was blowing 35-40 mph and they all managed to pull it together and were ready for Wreck It Racing at 6:00.
