This woodland in Wolverhampton is hiding a very nasty secret…

It has become the favourite hideaway for a group of local drug users who have a tendency to not clear up after themselves. The result? A forest floor littered with hundreds and hundreds of used needles and drug paraphernalia. Absolutely horrid.
Luckily, local hero ‘Litter Picker’ Lew is here to be the ever-plucky shielding kids, dogs and other regular folk from stepping or falling onto something nasty.

With spirits high as ever, Lew the Litter-picker makes sure he and his team are extra cautious today as they clean up the notoriously dangerous local woodland. A very filthy job indeed - in fact one that many wouldn’t want to do at all – but Lew and his crew can rest with an easy conscience knowing that the local children are safe from the unthinkable.

He’s not the local hero Wolverhampton deserves, but he is the one it needs. Well done, Lew.
