U.S. CDC issues level 1 travel watch for Japan, Hong Kong amid coronavirus threat 미 CDC, 일본에 '1단계 여행경보'…중화권 외 국가로는 처음

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued coronavirus-related travel advisories for Americans visiting Japan and Hong Kong.
According to officials on Thursday, …a level-one travel watch has been put in place, noting (quote) "multiple instances of community spread" in both countries.
They added that it is not necessary to postpone or cancel trips due to the virus.
The advisories warn travelers to avoid contact with sick people, … and to avoid touching their eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.
They also recommend washing hands often for at least 20 seconds using soap and water.
Meanwhile, the U.S. State Department has raised its travel advisory for China from level three to level four, …which asks Americans not to travel to China.
