In this video we explain path and point function In point function we find thermodynamic property when boundary of system is not move Example- pressure, volume, enthalpy, internal energy, temperature etc. they are point function and also known as state function, so point function is those property which does not depend on path its only depend on initial and final state of the system
and note that point function are exact differential
Second function is path function its example is work and heat transfer they depend only in Path and they are Inexact differential
Note : Work is transient phenomenon
Heat is Boundary phenomenon
