General Motors ultimately 'doesn't care about Australian jobs'

General Motors ultimately 'doesn't care about Australian jobs' Sky News contributor Adam Creighton says the axing of Australian automotive icon Holden "is General Motors' fault" in its failure to manage the brand effectively, but said it ultimately had to "make decisions in its own interests" as a foreign entity.

Mr Creighton echoed the sentiments of Prime Minister Scott Morrison in declaring the move was "sad but not surprising".

"[GM] doesn't care about Australian jobs," Mr Creighton said.
