CJI Bobde highlights fundamental rights, rule of law at International Judges Conference

CJI SA Bobde delivered his inaugural address at the International Judges Conference Saturday in New Delhi highlighting rule of law, individual rights and separation of powers between the three pillars of democracy. He also spoke about the challenge judiciaries across the world face in an age of "technological revolution" and included historical anecdotes from India's "2,000-year-old judicial system" like the 'chicken liver test'.
